I have a solar panel 7.5V 1.25W 150mah, connect 2 in parallel to power a RC boat. The boat use to run on 6cell battery pack – 7.2V 1800Mah.
The dc motor requirement based on the provided battery pack, i assume would be 7.2V and rated at (7.2V * 1.8Amp) = 12.96 Watt.
Would two of my solar panels run this DC motor ?
are my calculations or understanding correct ?
do lend a hand dear ”world”
Yes i assumed the motor was at 1.8Amps from the 1800mah spec the battery had, my bad.
Sorry for the english mishap, was in a rush.
I really do not know how to find out about the motor spec, it is a rc boat i purchased and now planning to use solar to run it, in other words removing the battery and only relying on solar energy.
pretty confusing this is!
i connected the solar panels but the motor did not respond. i suppose you are right, i need more then 2 piece of them solar panels.
