Year starts at the beginning of August. the 2010′s will be available at that time. I say this because i bought my 09 at the begining of august 08.

Buy a Victory instead. They actually have a higher American parts content than Harleys at the moment and the mechanicals are much more modern.
In any case, corporations open and close their model years whenever it suits their stock inventory. There are car manufacturers already selling “2010″ cars on selected models, simply because the 2009 stock sold out early. With the current slump in bike sales, you can expect delays.
Besides, this is Harley we’re talking about. The 2010 V-Rod will look like the 2009 V-rod, which looked like the 2008 V-Rod …
