<description>It is an electric drive of a propeller mounted in the middle of the body which is made of thin foam board (foam with paper on both sides) used for art work and architectural model making. You can buy 1/16&quot; and 1/8&quot; foam board at art supply and college book stores. You would probably be best off by contacting a local RC club and/or RC hobby dealer for the radio kit, motor, batteries and prop and they may have a foam kit to learn with.
Rather recent developments in light weight rechargeable batteries, very light weight powerful motors, small RC receivers and servos and foam construction have made electric powered airplanes very popular as there is none of the mess, noise, starting hassle, and turnaround time of fuel powered planes.
