Is it normal procedure to get your portfolio done by yourself before starting in a modelling agency?

I’ve been contacted by a modelling agency recently. They are doing a training day at the end of the month (it will involve ethics about the company, make up, hair etc) and it costs €65. They have said it’s essential to get this done for “trainee models”. I’ve been told that I then need to go get my own professional pictures done and they will then put me on their books and contact me if anything arrises. Is this a normal procedure? I assumed that you get more pictures done with the more work you have done and pay for it out of the money you earn from modelling. Not have all your pic’s taken before you even start off. Can anybody help me with this? It’s an Irish based modelling agency.

My parents think I’m sleeping,
but I’m positively not,
for beneath my pile of covers
I’m doing quite a lot.

I am reading poems and stories,
(i have got my flashlight lit)
i am playing with the pieces
of my model rocket kit

Will you please give me advice on Home Schooling?

My 13 year old nephew has moved in with my parents next door to me. He’s a wonderful child who has not had a healthy role model. He was in many fights in school and is below his level in academics. He does NOT do well in public schools at all! It’s due to the way my sister raised him. But, now he is here (next door) and we (my mother and I) have decided to both home school him. My mom ordered all the materials and I will be teaching him Math, Computer Skills, Typing and Reading. Yesterday was a very difficult day. It was our first day with Math. He is definately behind but I was positive through the whole experience. It took him 3 hours to understand the Periods of a number. You know… ones, tens, hundreds, thousands, ten thousands, etc. At this rate we are not going to get through the material to keep him on track. I’ve taught adults to read in the past and have trained many adults for work purposes. But, this is new to me. Can anyone please help me with teaching skills

What do fish eat and like?

I caught a lot of fish in the canal by my house the other day, and they seem to be hungry. I am pretty sure they are minnows. I caught them with using bread as bait, and they are about 2 inches long. They look like normal fish, and I have been giving them little pieces of bread. However, I was wondering if there is any other king of food that I can give them. I have been keeping them in the same canal water I found them in, so they can eat the bacteria and other things in there. Should I give them grass and leaves? The canal I found them in also has some overgrowth of plants, but I am not sure if they eat it or just live in it. Also, what should I stick in the tank to make them feel more homey, should I put a rock, grass, leaves, or anything else?

I am a slim female, i do part time modelling and loose weight easily because i dont really like eating much, I drink to a avergae of 3 cokes per day. but beside that since 2 days i eat like 20 cotton candies. they are extremely small in size since they are homemade with a machine we bought. One cotton candy requries exactly 1 tablespoon of sugar. is it hamfull if ur otherwise very healthy with training and stuff? please answer. im sorry if i made this question long:) Say i may eat atleast 10 cotton candies on average per day?
