hey everyone. i am a beginner (i’ve tried to fly twich, and crashed within 8 seconds both times) to RC planes, and i just wanted to know if the Clearview RC simulator is an adequate program for just starting out and getting the basics. i am not looking for something $200 and up, just something to get started. i found fms very easy, and purchased clearview, which is more difficult. would this get me ready for the real deal?
I have a Walkera 60 RC helicopter. It used to take off and fly fine (until crashing….but not from high up) Now the blades will spin fine, but it absolutely refuses to take off. I don’t know if this has something to do with the gyro or what the deal is. I’m not all that familiar with RC helicopters, i was more of a plane guy, but i wanted to try my hand at helicopters. Does anybody have a good idea as to what could be causing it? I should add that the blades are somewhat chewed up, but they have been repaired pretty well. could something as little as that effect the ability to take?

Where can i get a good deal on an RC car o truck?
People always make such a big deal about “freedom” and “being free.” What’s wrong with the government training its citizens for various jobs based on a pre-screened aptitude battery?
What’s wrong with the government stepping in to take children away from their parents to raise in the image of the model citizen as defined by the state, particularly if the parents are criminals?
What’s wrong in requiring competency tests before people are allowed to marry and have children?
What’s wrong with enslaving social deviants? the constitution says we can do it, by the way. Read the 13th amnedment again.
What’s wrong with denying women the fundamental control over their ability to procreate?
What’s wrong with imposing our collective national will on to the peoples of foreign, technologically inferior nations?
What’s wrong with allowing the state the power of life and death over its citizens?
Is there anything with wrong with any of these things? If so, what?

If people want to take performance enhancing substances to help them in sports training and performance, then why not let them? If others do not want to compete, then there could be separate classes. Why do we consider one type of science (Performance enhancement) to be cheating in sports, but not others? Is computer modeling cheating in sailing? Advanced skies? Computer aided training? Some people have more testosterone than others, some are taller, more muscular, others lighter, longer limbed, are these natural differences cheating? Some athletes have surgeries to move muscles, or trim bones so that they are better suited to a particular sport. Should we start banning these as well? When skiers etc. blow out their knees, they have surgeries which make their knees better than before the failure. Gymnasts have shoulder muscles fail and then surgery to move them, producing a more agile mechanic. Are these wrong? What about substances taken for recovery?
