Is it normal procedure to get your portfolio done by yourself before starting in a modelling agency?

I’ve been contacted by a modelling agency recently. They are doing a training day at the end of the month (it will involve ethics about the company, make up, hair etc) and it costs €65. They have said it’s essential to get this done for “trainee models”. I’ve been told that I then need to go get my own professional pictures done and they will then put me on their books and contact me if anything arrises. Is this a normal procedure? I assumed that you get more pictures done with the more work you have done and pay for it out of the money you earn from modelling. Not have all your pic’s taken before you even start off. Can anybody help me with this? It’s an Irish based modelling agency.

Will this boat(toy) plan work?

ok, i disassembled an rc car and took out the insides. Im planning to make a boat out of it. My plan was to put the 2 motors, from the toy car, on either side of a platform( this will act as the rear end) with motors apart like 3-5 inches away from each other. Now, when i turn one of the motors on, will it make the boat turn the other way? like if i turn the motor on the right will it made the boat turn left? I assume that if i turn both motors on, it would go straight? Can i maneuver the boat with the motors positioned like that?

Electric drift rc car building checklist???

I’m planning on building my own electric rc drift car using a kit from yokomo. the kit includes parts for a full chassis, wheels, tires, and a body. it requires i purchase a radio system, sub c type 7.2v battery, and a motor. I’ve got most of the parts i would like picked out but i was wondering if someone knew of a website or something that has a checklist of all parts required to construct a complete rc car? I have a pretty good idea but when i was looking into batteries, i noticed you have to get a certain type of connector to match something (different brands were listed), so do you have get a switch and connector that on the “IN” end hooks up to your battery and the “OUT” end is made to fit in certain brands of recievers? Thanks, any info will be appreciated!

what is the best way to body fat and keep your curves???

ok well im a model in training, and i have to loose some belly fat, and umm yeahh i have the type of body where i have curves but they’re slender curves like the one second from the end on the right

When does Harley-Davidson’s model year end?

I’m looking at buying the v-rod muscle but am willing to wait a few months if the model year ends soon, to see what the 2010 v-rod looks like as well as a possible discount on the v-rod purchase. Guys, I love the US of A and my heart is set on a Harley. Yes they are expensive, big deal. I’m a hardworking man, I expect taxes to go up soon for obvious reasons but I will ride and feel the freedom that this country offers for myself on a Harley-Davidson this summer. So, if you know when the model year ends or any relative information that’d be great. From what I’ve gathered, the new models come out around every May (but not positive). Thanks for everything guys.

Oh, and I’m not getting a crotch rocket no matter how many times you try to tell me they’re better. For 3k+ a year on insurance I might as well buy a Shelby Mustang GT. Not to mention the riding position which is more or less the receiving end of “doggy style.”

Is it possible to ignite gunpowder with a small charge of electricity?

I’m asking because we need a way to remotely light fireworks. We have a remote model rocket launcher that sends a small amount of electricity through a wire. Would this light the gunpowder on the end of a fuse?
