I have jusrt made a hull for a rc boat out of polystyrene and have coated it in 2 layers of 450 g chop strand fibreglass and now i want to make the hull smooth. i have seen something rubbed over fibreglass before and then sanded smooth but i need something that can go underwater and possibly painted.

Okay so this one involves distributive property..
1. The area pf a rectangle is represented by the polynomial 15xy+8y. What are polynomial representations of the dimensions.
All i could come up with was y(5x+8).
2. Mr. McGoo is designing a jumping fountain. The initial shooting velocity is 12 ft/s. Use the equation h=12t-16tsquared, where h is the height of the water in ft and t is time in seconds. to determine how many seconds each sgor of water in the air. I had 12=12t-16tsquared. then subracted 12 from each side and now i have -16tsquared+12t-12=O..and then im lost..
3.Last one. Mr. Alias’ engineering club launched a model rocket outside the classroom from the top if an 84-foot hill. Use the equation h=-16tsquared+32t+84 to find how long the rocket was in the air before hitting the ground. And this one i have no idea what to do..
