Math problem question? ?

Clovis is standing at the edge of a cliff, which slopes 4 feet downward from him for every 1 horizontal foot. He launches a small model rocket from where he is standing. With the origin of the coordinate system
located where he is standing, and the x-axis extending horizontally, the path of the rocket is described by the formula y= -2x^2 + 120x

(a) Give a function h= f(x) relating the height h of the rocket above the sloping ground to its x-coordinate.

(b) Find the maximum height of the rocket
above the sloping ground. What is its x-coordinate when it is at its maximum height?
(c) Clovis measures its height h of the rocket above the sloping ground while it is going up. Give a function x = g(h) relating the x-coordinate of the rocket to h.
(d) Does this function still work when the
rocket is going down? Explain.

A 500 g model rocket is on a cart that is rolling to the right at a speed of 3.0 m/s.?

A 500 g model rocket is on a cart that is rolling to the right at a speed of 3.0 m/s. The rocket engine, when it is fired, exerts an 8.0 N thrust on the rocket. Your goal is to have the rocket pass through a small horizontal hoop that is 20 m above the launch point. At what horizontal distance left of the loop should you launch?

At what horizontal distance between the target and the rocket should you launch?

As a science fair project, you want to launch an 900g model rocket straight up and hit a horizontally moving target as it passes 23.0m above the launch point. The rocket engine provides a constant thrust of 17.0N . The target is approaching at a speed of 14.0 m/s

Is a crooked horizontal stabilizer bad for RC planes?

The horizontal stab is perfectly parallel to the main wing if you look at the plane directly from the front or back. Unfortunately, the stab is slightly crooked if you look at the plane from the top (the left half of the stab is very slightly forward of the right half). Now, a crooked stabilizer is OBVIOUSLY bad. My stab’s crookedness is very slight. I just measured and its about 0.5 cm off on each side. Should I remount the damn stab?

What is the best tail design for an RC plane?

If I want to build an RC plane by scratch, what is the best tail design, a commercial tail, a t-tail where the horizontal stabilizer is on top of the vertical stabilizer, or a V wing, like a predator UAV? If my pilot is a beginer-intermidiate RC flier, what is the best, most stable design for the lane? And please, do not tell me to just buy a kit.
I want a high wing dual propeller rc plane

To model a spacecraft, a toy rocket engine is securely fastened to a large puck, which can glide with?

negligible friction over a horizontal surface, taken as the xy plane. The 4.00 kg puck has a velocity of 8.00 m/s at one instant. Eight seconds later, its velocity is to be (1.00 + 6.00 ) m/s.
(a) Assuming the rocket engine exerts a constant total horizontal force, find the components of the force.
( + ) N

(b) Find its magnitude.
