Building a water rocket involves using a launcher and stand, pumping water and air into a soda bottle and launching it outside to see it shoot up from the ground. Put together a water rocket with a demonstration from a science teacher in this free video on science. Expert: Colin Kilbane Contact: www.madscience.org/locations/mn/ Bio: Colin Kilbane is the head scientist of a school program called Mad Science. Filmmaker: Ryan Ouradnik

As a science fair project, you want to launch an 800 g model rocket straight up and hit a horizontally moving target as it passes 33.0 m above the launch point. The rocket engine provides a constant thrust of 19.6 N. The target is approaching at a speed of 20.0 m/s.
At what horizontal distance between the target and the rocket should you launch?

i need some ideas for a science model i need to do for my model.
it has to be on astronomy, maybe about a rocket launching into the solar system or something
i just need an idea quick and fast
i need a model for a person 13 years old
thanks for your help
PS i would prefer doing something that would give me good marks even if it was hard and i preffer it has something to do with rockets
as a science fair project, you want to launch an 0.8 kg model rocket straight up and hit a horizontally moving target as it passes 30 m above the launch point. The rocket engine provides a constant thrust of 15 N. The target is approaching at a speed of 15 m/s. At what horizontal distance between the target and the rocket should you launch?
