Need help picking a deck level on RC Mariner of the Seas cruise?

We want a balcony room for our 7 night mexico cruise, but im a bit confused as to what would be a deck level and weather we want front, back or middle. I of course want…

minimal hallway traffic (how would I know what areas are popular…the elevators? what about the promenade?)

no obstructed views (like life boats, which i can’t see on the deck plan map)

private balcony (nobody able to see from above)

minimal engine noise ( I assume the back of the ship would be louder)

maybe big enough to layout on the balcony (is 46 sq ft big enough?) I know the corner rooms have bigger balconies, but the back has the engine and the front is more expensive….right?

and if I want sunset views on the way there (from LA to Mexico) I would want a room the the right side of the ship….right?

Im also confused about the pricing…I heard that pricing is determined by where on the ship you have a room, but then what is the posted $720 per person for a balcony room? it must go up depending on the level you are on…right? how do i know the actual price of the room before I book?

I find the deck plans on RC’s websites confusing, and since I have never cruised before I have no idea how to find what im looking for.

Pilots: local wind speeds online?

Where can I get a map of local wind speeds and direction online? I want to get detailed maps if I can. This is so I can determine the proper locations to fly various RC planes. I have some that can take no wind, some that need less than 10mph, some that can handle 20mph… so I need accurate speeds that are current. This is in Lakewood, CO and the wind speeds change by the hour. The obvious weather sites don’t seem to have what I need. I checked Weather.com,local news sites and NOAA, and NCAR. All I can get is the readings from Buckley AFB, DIA, and Jeffco Airport, which are all miles from here. Is that as accurate as it can get?
If I’m at the area already I can estimate wind by looking at trees, flags, and whatever, but yeah I’d like to know before I get there… so I can pick whether to fly at this park or the one across town or if it’s best to stay home or whatever…

The national 4th of JULY question. Is my brother right?

Today, July 4, our family scheduled a 4th of July rocket model, after the Discovery was launched. The model was built at app. 9.54566 meters tall, to withstand an incredible 3 miles up launch at exactly 8:27 pm ET time tonight. Although the rocket will explode at an altitude of ~3 miles, and all technology fireworks will be seen at a span of 12-23,4 miles around, my brother is pissed because he is afraid we will get caught. He said, “No, I don’t wanna do this. Not at all. And my parents are making up shit like, “Oh, Maxxi, we’re not setting the rocket at 9, or rounding, exactly at 8:27 we’re sending it. and…” I am pissed, and I am scarred. I thought Maxxim, my brother would be pissed either way. So I need your help. Please find out the following answer to the clues: First clue, the weather is clear. Second clue, the rocket has a crack in it, 3rd clue: The rocket might not survive. The stand of the rocket is fragile too. Will the rocket go far without breaking? HELP!

Potty training advice?

I have a 6 mos old SCWT. It is a she. I also have a 3 1/2 yr old boy. I am having the hardest time potty training her. I’ve tried crating her and then taking her outside on the hour and she won’t go. 5 mins later she goes in the house. I’ve tried to let my boy be a “role model” but she doesnt’ pay attention to him. It’s almost like she doesn’t know that it is okay to go outside because I’ll take her for walks and she won’t go. Any advice for getting her to go outside. I’m trying to be patient but it is kind of wearing thin. I also live in Pittsburgh so the weather at times can be a bit foul (rain, cold, ice, snow).
Thanks for any tidbits.

Has anyone trained to race only on a treadmilll? Any tips?

I moved house to a mountainous terrain. I cannot manage the hills as yet, plus the weather. Also, the crime situation has gotten much worse, so I have been running on my treadmill. It’s a pretty sturdy model and not one of the cheap filmsy ones. I am considering training for a 10K and haven’t raced in a while. I’m told it is possible to train entirely on a treadmill, but any tips on how it’s actually done? Has anyone done it?

Do you need special acrylic paints when using a Badger Double Action Airbrush?

Hello. Along with my interest in roller coasters I love HO Scale model trains. And when Kitbashing, I need to paint/weather my engines, cars & buildings. Now, I do not have an airbrush yet, but I am getting a Badger 150 Double Action airbrush kit, and I have learned that for model RR’ing acrylic paints work very well. But, I do not know if they will harm my airbrush. So I am asking you. Thank you in advance! :-{)
